About TutorMe

Our mission is to cultivate curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

Our Approach

Beyond the books.
A relationship-first approach.

Most students don't struggle because they lack ability. They struggle because somewhere along the way, they lost confidence.

I started TutorMe because I saw what no dataset could capture: kids shutting down during homework, parents feeling helpless, and families searching for someone they could genuinely trust. I knew the right educator, the right relationship, could change everything.

TutorMe is a premium, in-home tutoring service supporting PreK–12 students across all subjects. We offer academic support, test prep, homeschooling, executive functioning coaching, and cognitive assessments, each designed around your student and delivered where they're most comfortable: home.

We don't patch over problems. We build confidence, develop structure, and create the kind of early wins that compound over time.

If your student is falling behind, feeling stuck, or simply capable of more, we'd love to help.

Meet the Founder

Building with purpose.

Hi, I'm Ryan Moore, founder of TutorMe.

My journey in education started with a simple belief: that students thrive when they feel supported and challenged in the right ways. I launched TutorMe in July 2023 to bring that belief to life — not just through expert instruction, but through genuine relationships and tailored experiences that go far beyond the worksheet.

Before TutorMe, I started my career helping build new ventures inside PwC. My background is in business and marketing, but my passion has always been working with students — and building things that make an impact.

I've been married for seven years to my beautiful wife, Sydney, and we're raising our two-year-old son, Dunham, with a baby girl due in August. When I'm not running TutorMe, I enjoy woodworking and building furniture, spending time outdoors, bird hunting, and working on my other businesses.

Who Our Tutors Are

A few faces from the team.

TutorMe is built on the belief that great learning starts with great relationships. That's why we're incredibly intentional about the people we bring onto our team.

Our tutors are not just subject-matter experts. They're relational, reliable, and deeply invested in the students they work with. They come from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds, including certified teachers, graduate students, and experienced educators who specialize in one-on-one instruction.

What unites them all is a shared commitment to helping students grow in confidence, curiosity, and capability.

The Matching Process

We don't just match a tutor to a subject. We match a tutor to a student.

We consider personality, learning style, and even schedule compatibility to ensure the right fit. Once we've made a match, we stay involved — every tutor provides regular updates and session notes through our platform, and we're always available to check in, pivot, or adjust.

This isn't an algorithm. It's a relationship — with real people who care.

At the heart of TutorMe is a deep belief that every student has the potential to thrive when given the right support.

We're honored to walk alongside families during these formative years — and we take that responsibility seriously.
